Nice hat! Prince William spotted rehearsing for Queen’s birthday parade on Mall

Prince William has been spotted rehearsing for the Trooping the Colour parade in front of amazed tourists outside Buckingham Palace.

The future King is set to take part in the parade next weekend in front of the Queen in celebration of the Queen’s official birthday on June 17.

But Prince William was spotted dressed in his bearskin hat and riding a white horse alongside comrades from the Household Division.

The troops braved scorching temperatures for the rehearsal, which place outside Buckingham Palace and the Queen Victoria memorial on Saturday afternoon with tourists and Royal fans watching on.

The hot weather reportedly caused one of Prince William’s colleagues to faint and meant he had to be taken away on a stretcher.

Prince William was pictured rehearsing his salute.

The parade, known as the Colonel’s Review, is designed to give the Queen the chance to inspect troops from her own personal brigade.

Alongside the troops, the display features 200 horses and 400 musicians.
