#BringBackFunHouse crowdfunder campaign aims to turn Fun House kids’ TV show into live experience attraction for adults in London

Fun house, it’s a quiz, it’s a race, a real wacky place …

Classic 90s kids’ TV show Fun House could be making a comeback – but not on our screens just yet.

Instead, a group of telly producers have launched a £650,000 crowdfunder to reproduce the show experience as interactive live entertainment for adults in London.

Their aim is to open at a ‘top-secret’ location in the capital early next year.

If it goes ahead, nostalgic fans and other big kids who want to get silly for a couple of hours will have the chance to race those karts and to play some of the wacky games involving a huge ball pool, slides and inflatables.

Perhaps best of all, host Pat Sharp (minus his mullet) and cheerleading twins Melanie and Martina (now 45-year-old mums) are up for taking part and making appearances at the new Fun House.

The team’s funding page says: “We’ve been working with the original Fun House creator to plan a live experience which is as authentic as possible.

“We’ve developed a vision for a series of super-sized games which you’ll get to play, helping your team earn advantages for your time in the Fun House Finale.”

Could the live experience in London lead to a revival on TV similar to how The Crystal Maze is returning?

The campaign page teases: “We would love to see Fun House back on our screens! If you help us to create enough of a buzz, well… anything is possible!”
