Pupils encouraged to wear something green to show support for victims of Grenfell tragedy | London

Pupils are being encouraged to go to school on Friday wearing something green.

The ‘Go Green for Grenfell’ campaign will allow pupils and staff to show their support their support for those caught up in the West London tower block tragedy.

The social media campaign #GreenforGrenfell will raise money for people affected by the disaster by encouraging those taking part to donate.

Speaking to The Times, Peter Haylock, Principal of Fulham College Academy Trust said:

Our students really want to try and do something positive to try to help with such a tragic situation. As many schools as we can get wearing green on Friday, the better – it would be great to see it go national.
