Family appeals for help to find elderly man with dementia missing for a week

A family are growing increasingly concerned for an elderly man with dementia who has been missing from a north London care home for more than a week.

Leocardo Loney, 83, was last seen on Thursday, August 3 by staff at his care home in Wembley.

Police and his family are increasingly concerned for his wellbeing and are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.

Mr Loney, who suffers from dementia and may be confused, is described as black, about 5ft 10ins tall, of medium build, with short grey hair. 

At the time of his disappearance, he wore a red baseball cap and a black jacket. 

Police and his family said he likes to take the bus and the train and enjoys going to the park.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call Brent’s Missing Persons Unit on 101 or Missing People on 116000.
