Spectacular aerial images show London in its summer glory: From Primrose Hill to Wimbledon

These stunning images taken from a daredevil photographer in a helicopter show London in all its glory during the summer months.

From enraptured crowds at a Justin Bieber concert in Hyde Park to a packed Lord’s Cricket ground and Primrose Hill, the pictures showcase the best the capital has to offer when the sun’s out.

They were taken by photographer Jason Hawkes, who flies over London in a helicopter to capture his rare shots of the city.

One shows children playing in water fountains at Somerset House on a sunny day, while others capture Centre Court at Wimbledon, the royal parks and the Shard soaking up the summer sun.

Striking aerial images show how London skyline has changed in a decade

Another image reveals the scene at trendy east London members club Shoreditch House where punters are relaxing by the pool.

Mr Hawkes, who has authored over 50 books, said the images were shot from between 450ft and 2500ft above London.
