Masked men drag shop owner from his car, rob him of his takings and designer bag | London

Police are hunting two masked men who dragged a shop owner out of his car and robbed him of his takings and designer ‘manbag’.

Detectives investigating the robbery have issued CCTV of the horrifying attack, which saw a local shop owner being robbed of his daily takings.

The attack saw the 24-year-old victim, a local clothes retailer, attacked while sitting in his car parked in Bow, east London.

One of the men dragged the victim out of the car and demanded his watch, while the other opened the passenger side of the car and grabbed a Louis Vuitton bag containing £500 in cash.

The two balaclava-clad suspects escaped in a black Audi A4 with false plates.

This is a nasty attack on a local businessman who was robbed of his takings after he finished work.

I am appealing to anyone who can assist this investigation to come forward and speak to police – these are violent men who need to be arrested.

– PC Andrew Hillier, Tower Hamlets CID

No arrests have been made in the attack which happened on January 15 at 5.30pm, and police are appealing for witnesses.
